Vassiliko Cement Works Ltd. (Cyprus) informed that during last three years of using ECOFOR devices they have been observing the decreasing of specific wear of “HARDALLOY” grinding media. Statistic data show that before installation of ECOFOR devices specific wear was in the range 26 to 40 gramms/tonn of cement. Specific wear became only 9-12 gramms/tonn with using of ECOFOR devices.
ECOFOR device hardens the surface of grinding media. According to this reason there is a long duration aftereffect after turning off ECOFOR device. Aftereffect takes place till hardened surface of grinding media is weared out without ECOFOR influence. But it is not necessary to turn off the device even during the maintenance stops of equipment.
